Bel Aire Elementary was given the honor of being named a 2023 California Distinguished school. Bel Aire educators prioritize development of the whole child by cultivating motivated, self-directed learners, creative problem solvers, effective communicators and engaged citizens. Bel Aire students graduate with mastery in the Common Core standards, as well as tangible 21st century skills and a greater understanding of the world around them.

The Foundation for Reed Schools plays a vital role in student development at Bel Aire by funding specialist programs in Spanish, Technology, PE, Music, Library, and Art.
